Description
Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the limited-edition folding pocketknife inlaid with a genuine Buffalo nickel and engraved with a personalized monogram. Designed by sculptor James Earl Fraser and minted from 1913-1938, this symbol of the American Plains remains one of the most collected coins and is considered by many to be a token of good fortune. The circulated five cent coin is set in a black pinewood handle that also bears the classically styled monogram, with the prominent family name initial in the center. The 3 3/4" long stainless steel blade unfolds from its handle, making the knife 8 1/2" long when open. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Supply initials in this order: first, last, middle. 3 1/4" L x 1 1/4" W x 1/2" D. (5 oz.)
