Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the desktop lamp that provides ambient illumination with a galaxy of colored lights. It has 36 white and 14 RGB LEDs in the globe’s base that backlights hundreds of points on the mercury glass dome, creating the illusion of an array of fiber optic tips that appear to change colors and meld into one another in a captivating pattern when the globe is manually rotated or when one moves one’s head while gazing at it.
