Developed by a doctor of physical therapy, this is the cooling pillow designed to provide proper support to a side-sleeper’s head, neck, and shoulders. Available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer, the pillow has a U-shaped opening at its bottom that cradles the shoulder, allowing the pillow to properly support the head. Built from cooling foam on both sides that provides a comfortable night’s sleep, the pillow has a slight depression in the surface that prevents pressure from building up on the ear and provides optimal neck support. The pillow is up to 3" thicker than a typical pillow, a design element that is critical to keeping the neck and back in proper alignment while relieving weight-bearing pressure on the arm and shoulder to eliminate muscle strains and prevent the arm from “falling asleep.” The pillow has a soft, hypoallergenic polyester fill and its form-fitting cover is made from an imported brushed microfiber. 17" W x 15" L x 6" H.
