This weather station was rated The Best by the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute because it provided the most accurate weather readings. Unlike lesser models that were off by as much as 10.2º F, the Best unit only varied by 0.1º F. It also provided the most precise windspeed readings, differing only by .33 mph of actual windspeeds, while other units were off by as much as 3.23 mph. The Best unit displays its readings on a color LCD, has weather trending arrows, humidity readings, and a 12 to 24-hour future forecast. Its weather sensor mounts outdoors with included hardware and requires four AA batteries. Monitor plugs into AC or runs on six AA batteries (not included). 8 1/4" H x 6 3/4" W x 2 3/4" D. (6 lbs.)
