Description
This is the motorized train set from Hammacher Schlemmer and manufactured by Lionel, the foremost name in electric toy trains since 1900. The meticulously detailed set includes a red and green locomotive that “chuffs” and whistles like a real steam locomotive while its working headlamp illuminates the way ahead. Pulled behind are three cars: a tender car, gondola holding crates of Christmas presents, and a festive caboose. The included remote control operates the train’s motion, rings the bell, and sounds the whistle. Includes 24 curved and eight straight track sections that form a 50" x 73" oval which surrounds even the fullest of Christmas trees. Locomotive requires six C cell batteries, remote requires three AAA batteries. Ages 4 and up. (13 lbs.)
