Description
This is the 261-piece set designed in Germany that lets young engineers build a firetruck that sprays a pressurized stream of fire-fighting water. The kit comes with an adapter for a standard half-liter plastic bottle (not included), which is used in the model as a water tank. An air pump creates pressure in the water-filled plastic bottle such that when the valve is opened, water sprays out of the attached fire hose, teaching kids about the relationship between air and water pressure as they put out imaginary blazes. The colorful plastic pieces snap together easily to form one of three different models. The set also bolsters a child’s motor skills as it reinforces STEM concepts. Includes step-by-step manual. Ages 7 and up. Box 18 1/4" L x 12 1/2" W x 3 1/4" D. (3 lbs.)
